We love to cater to our local fisherman and fisherwomen. Every Saturday after the 4th of July we have our Galveston Bait & Tackle “Appreciation Day.” Appreciation Day is a great family get-together so bring the young aspiring anglers. We will have great food, great company, and great fishing. Sometimes we even have a tournament so bring your skill, strategy and a little luck!

Weather forecast for today
Today, in Galveston, high-altitude clouds may scatter across the sky, but the sun will still shine. A slight temperature fluctuation is expected, ranging from a high of a humid 89.6°F to a low of a moderately hot 80.6°F. The maximum heat index, which adjusts the air temperature based on humidity, is evaluated at a blistering 105.8°F. Be aware that direct exposure to sunlight increases heat impact and may raise the heat index by up to 15 Fahrenheit degrees. The anticipated daily high is projected to match August's typical maximum of 87.4°F. Sunrise will be at 6:48 am and sunset at 7:58 pm; the daylight will last for 13h and 10min.

Weather forecast for tomorrow
Tomorrow, in Galveston, mainly sunny conditions will dominate the day. Temperature shifts will be modest, ranging from a peak of a hot 89.6°F to a low of a warm 82.4°F. The maximum heat index, which combines relative humidity and air temperature, is calculated to be a torridly hot 105.8°F. Take into consideration that the heat index values are calculated for shade and light wind conditions. Bear in mind that direct sunshine exposure increases weather impact and may raise the heat index by up to 15 Fahrenheit degrees. The highest temperature is anticipated to follow the average for August, around 87.4°F. Sunrise will be at 6:48 am and sunset at 7:57 pm; tomorrow's daylight will last for 13h and 9min.
