Shrimper

Galveston Bait & Tackle carries live shrimp all year.

Everything eats shrimp; it’s like the worm of saltwater fishing. Trout, Red Fish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Backdrum, Spanish Mackerel, and Jackfish can all be caught using shrimp.

It’s all about Croaker

when summer time rolls around (mid March thru November).

Live Croaker is best for speckle Trout and Red Fish.

We carry live Mullet and Minnows.

During the spring and fall Flounder Runs.
